Dreamsectarium es una trilogía teatral en donde los insectos son los personajes principales. El propósito principal es presentar, a través de pequeños insectos los sueños humanos: volar, ser feliz, ser amado, reunir a la familia. Juanita la Araña quiere volar aunque las arañas no están hechas para eso. Zoom, el mosquito, siempre anda en busca de la felicidad, Cuca, la Cucaracha, quiere ser bonita para ser aceptada por los demás y Siránda la mariposa quiere cruzar a Estados Unidos para poder reunirse con su mamá. Dreamsectarium es una invitación a recordar nuestra fragilidad y darle la bienvenida a nuestros sueños que son la cualidad más hermosa que poseemos.

EL SUEÑO DE JUANITA “La gente puede morir, los animales pueden morir, hasta las plantas y las montañas pueden morir. Pero los sueños no, esos nunca mueren, son eternos como la luz.”
SINOPSIS Hoy Juanita la Araña acaba de nacer. Ella no sabe muchas cosas ni siquiera puede controlar todas sus patas! Muchos pájaros pasan y Juanita se imagina volando “¡EEEE, vengan!” Juanita quiere ir con ellos “¡QUIERO VOLAR! ¡ESPERENME!” ¡Pero las arañas no puede volar! Entonces sueña que es una niña pero ni siquiera los humanos pueden volar. Siempre hay alguien diciendo que hay que hacer y que está prohibido aunque esas reglas nos corten las alas. Pero Juanita quiere ir lejos, lejos… siempre más lejos. Hay muco tipos de sueños: los rosas, as pesadillas, los dulces y los amargos. Están los sueños que pronto se olvidan y los que nos hacen dormir con una sonrisa en los labios. Hay sueños cortos y sueños largos y hay otra clase de sueños, aquellos que nos dan alas, esos son los que yo quiero. Esta es la historia de Juanita, la Araña que quería volar aunque las arañas no nacieron para ello. Esta es la historia de unos d los más antiguos deseos del ser humano y de cómo un pequeño insecto puede ir mas allá de cualquier expectativa, cualquier lógica, cualquier regla sólo con l ayuda de un pequeño pájaro y su voluntad.
LA TRAYECTORIA DE JUANITA La primera versión de esta obra fue presentada en diciembre 1998 en Kerala, India para e Primer Festiva de Teatro de Mujeres. Fue presentada en diversos lugares de la India: Kerala, Bengala (Calcuta) y en Karnataka para el Festival de Teatro Infantil de Bangalore. En México se hizo una segunda versión con músicos en vivo. En México se ha presentado muchas veces dentro del programa Alas y Raíces a los Niños y Vive la Magia. Su última presentación fue para la Feria de León del 2008.

DREAMSECTARIUM
Dreamsectarium is a trilogy of theatre plays, in which the insects are the main characters. The purpose of the trilogy is to present, through three little insects the human dreams: to fly, to be happy, to be loved. Juanita the Spider wants to fly eventhough spiders aren´t suppossed to fly. Zoom, the Mosquito is always searching for happiness and Cuca, the Roach wants to be beautiful to be accepted by the other ones. Dreamsectarium is an invitation for everybody to remember our fragility and to welcome our dreams as our most beautiful human quality, as our eternal light.
“People can die, animals can die, even plants and mountains can die. But dreams cannot, they will last forever, they are eternal as light.”
SYNOPSIS Today Juanita, the spider, was born. She doesn´t know many things, she can´t even manage all her lesg! Many birds are passing by and Juanita imagines herself flying “Hey, come!”. She wants to go with them. “I WANT TO FLY!!! HEY WAIT FOR ME!” But spiders can´t fly! So, she dreams that she´s a little girl, but not even human beens are supposed to fly. There´s always somebody telling us what to do and what is forbidden, eventhough these rules cut our wings. But Juanita wants to go farther, farther… always farther. There are many kinds of dreams: the pink ones, the nightmares, the sweet and the bitter ones, those that we easily forget. There´re the long and the short ones. The ones that make us sleep with a smile on the lips. And there´s another kind of dreams, the ones that give us wings, those are the ones I want. This is the story of Juanita, the spider who wanted to fly eventhough spiders are not supposed to do it. This is a story about the human dreams and how a small human-insect can go beyond any expectation, any logic, any rule only with the help of a small bird and her faith.

JUANITA´S TRAJECTORY The first version of this play was presented in december 1998 in Kerala India for the First Women´s Theatre Festival. It was performed several times in India: Kerala, West Bengal and Karnataka for the Children´s Festival. In Mexico a second version is done with live music. It has been presented many times inside the program Alas y Raíces a los Niños. Its last performance was on may 2008 for the Book Fairy in Leon, Gto.
